Unless you like operating complex menus on a little display that appears to have been lifted from a 1975 LED calculator, armed only with a cryptic manual, you will never use 99% of the features of this piano. Does it really cost that much to include a bigger LCD display? When it can be found on $ 20 toys? Would it have killed Yamaha to at least write a piano management app that could connect to a iphone/android/ipad?
The sounds are really no different than a piano that costs one third the price. All the fancy words mean nothing. They are selling keyboards using language once reserved for overpriced wines. 99.99% of the people in this world, blindfolded will not be able to tell the difference between this expensive piano and a much cheaper one. If you are part of the 0.01%, shouldn't you be reporting to Carnegie Hall by now?
It is heavy as hell. If people want to carry this thing around, good luck and I hope you have good health and disability insurance.
The keys are the only good part about this piano, they are a little stiff like a real piano.
Bottom line: Not worth the money. I wish the stupid store I bought this would accept a return.
