(More customer reviews)I needed a piano tuning hammer to loosen some piano wire, make a repair, and put the piano wire back on. The product works fine for that, except it isn't very secure when loosening the pin to release the piano wire......the star tip wants to unscrew itself. After a work-over in the vise to tighten the star tip to its base, I didn't have that problem any more.
I would not recommend this product to actually do much tuning. If you are going to tune a piano, you need to pass this one up and get something significantly better. However, for my amateurish needs, it ended up working just fine.
