(More customer reviews)Over the years, I have used everything to sit on and play/practice and really never payed attention to it until recently. I realized that like many players, attention is paid to instruments, amps, effects etc., but typically not on things like a stool.
Since my knees are bugging me now, sitting to practice and perform is my preference. I purchased this tower stool from Amazon and it fits my needs perfectly. I'm 5'9" so the sitting height on this short version is perfect. the seat itself is really large and comfortable. Best of all is the ability to swivel the seat 360 degress so I can access my floor effects and keyboard.
Now I know why drummers like these Roc n Soc thrones. If this stool only came with an optional back rest like the drum thrones, then it would be fantastic.
Last thing, when its shipped, its completely assembled. Just pull it out of the box and sit on it.
